Evolution of Nimitz Class carriers

As #navycarriercentennial continues we look at the evolution of Nimitz Class carriers. Here we have USS Abraham Lincoln in the foreground and USS Ronald Reagan behind her. The most obvious change is the movement of the SPS-49 radar to a short mast on the rear of the island which made a bit more space on the flight deck.
